I am grateful to Dansong for his suggestion that I launch Patriotic Singaporean as a repository of valuable insights (little of which would come from myself I suspect!). I do not see my contribution as a baby step towards citizenship by any stretch of the imagination; what matters is what readers do with my humble observations.

My blog adventure began in July 2007, eventfully enough as it turns out. Apparently in my excitement to search for a suitable name for my wordpress blog, I had inadvertently encroached on a fellow Singapore blogger’s ‘identity’. Upon seeking advice from fellow bloggers, I decided to, out of goodwill, allow my initial blog to remain dormant. Additionally, I have placed a disclaimer as follows:-
